During Friday’s episode of HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher said he “cannot refute” the assertion that President Joe Biden will stay in office even though everyone except him and First Lady Jill Biden knows he won’t win the 2024 election because Jill Biden wants to hold on to power.
After comedian Larry Wilmore said former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley’s speech at the Republican National Convention this week was saying the opposite of what her head was saying, especially in urging people to vote for former President Donald Trump, the 2024 Republican presidential nominee, Rep. Byron Donald (R-Fla.) said, “Nikki Haley was a lot more persuasive than Pete Buttigieg.” (Donald was referring to Maher’s interview with Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, who appeared in a personal capacity to defend Biden’s reelection campaign.)
Mr Maher responded: “Really?”
Donald then said, “Yeah, yeah. He already knows the deal. Pete knows Joe Biden can’t win. Everybody knows Joe Biden can’t win. The only people who don’t know are Jill Biden and Joe Biden. Because Jill wants Air Force One. That’s why.”
“Well, I can’t argue with that,” Maher replied.
