The comedian was taken to a local hospital after the incident occurred in the Las Vegas area, which led to the cancellation of his scheduled performance at the Luxor, where he has been performing for quite some time.
Jami Schlicher, Thompson’s representative, shared that the veteran performer is currently recovering in the hospital and is receiving necessary care. “Mr. Thompson is recovering in the hospital and is receiving the care and support he needs,” Schlicher explained.
Furthermore, she mentioned that his family, along with close friends, are very appreciative of the concern and well-wishes they’ve received but are asking for privacy during this challenging time.
