Carson Wentz ponders free agency future as second sidelined Super Bowl creeps in

New Orleans – Carson Wentz's past and present are about to clash, but what piques the most is his predictions of the future.

Wentz – The former Eagles franchise quarterback, staged while recovering from a torn ACL by 2018 Super Bowl MVP Nick Forres, will be on the opposite sideline on Sunday as Chiefs backup quarterback at Super Bowl 2025 . .

“The journey isn't the way I imagined it, it's the way I wanted it, all of those things,” Wentz said.

Recently I was asked by a post that could become the next Genosmith, Baker Mayfield, or Sam Darnold.

I can't hear any arguments from Patrick Mahomes. Patrick Mahomes described Wentz as a film addict who defeated him early in the morning at the team facility.

“He should definitely be the starter in this league,” Mahomes said. “I saw it through the OTA. I saw him throwing football. I saw him move around, how athletic he is. I'm not a fan of him in the league. I hope they get the chance to get the chance, like some of them. I think he'll get out there and maximize.”

Wentz was an MVP candidate 11-2 before tearing the ACL in December 2017. The former No. 2 pick in the 2016 draft spent three more turbulent seasons in Philadelphia before a tense divorce at the start of his Jalen Hearts era.

Since then, Wentz has joined four teams in four seasons. Finally, I worked as a full-time starter for the 2021 Colts.

“I grew up as a man,” Wentz said of his journey since Philadelphia. “I learned that my wife and family are resilient. I embraced the adventure. I learned where to put my worth. I was more confident in who I am and the ability to play. Masu.”

Following Darnold and Mayfield's formula, 32-year-old Wentz spends his time around a quarterback guru. He was under Rams' Sean McVay in 2023 before Chiefs' Andy Reed.

Is he interested in serving as a starter and mentor for the caretaker of the early seasons of rookies, as does Andy Dalton, Jamis Winston and Jacoby Brissett each year?

“I'm open to anything…but I want to enjoy this week as much as I can,” Wentz said. “I've seen a lot. I've experienced a lot. I think I can help many different ways for many different teams.”

It sounds like a Giants game before targeting Chedure Sanders and Come Ward in the draft.

“I've always been confident in my abilities,” Wentz said. “I see what's going on around the league. I see people like Sam and Baker doing these things, they wear hats, and that doesn't surprise me. Those guys came to a very talented league. They fit right and they take off.”

Has his Eagles experience helped him cope with the pressures of New York?

“It's just as big a market there,” Wentz said. “Around me from North Dakota, [Philadelphia] It was a huge culture shock, but I embraced the blue-collar work ethic of the city. I'm myself. I'm going to compete for the tail. ”

Wentz has appeared in just five games in the past two seasons. He started week 18.

“I felt healthy because I've been hit hardly for two years,” Wentz said. “I'm in my 30s now, and it's fresh. A lovely little bonus.”

Wentz claims he gave a simple idea about the surreal nature of Mahome taking one bad break from facing the Eagles in the Super Bowl after the AFC Championship Game.

“It could be weird for about half a second,” Wentz said. “My mind can wander just as much as you do, but I'm trying to get ready, not playing the scenario. It's hard to get here. The last time I was here, I was on my knees I was in pain.”
