Cassie Ventura describes Sean Combs’ violent and controlling behavior, saying his “eyes would just go black.”

Cathy Ventura recounted an alarming moment when Sean “Diddy” Combs’ demeanor abruptly shifted, describing how his eyes “just blacken” as he became emotional in a Manhattan courtroom on Tuesday.

“He becomes violent towards me. It’s like he turns into a different person,” Ventura, 38, stated during the dramatic sex trafficking trial involving high-profile music moguls.

“It’s unpredictable. You just never know what he might do next,” she added, emphasizing the fear that such transformations instill.

“The way to put it is—his eyes turn completely dark. The person I fell for isn’t there anymore,” she said, unraveling the complexities of her experience.

She further expressed her feelings of terror during the abuse. “There were points when I didn’t even recognize myself. It was overwhelming; a simple misstep would lead to me getting hit,” she reflected.

“I wasn’t showing him the kind of smile he wanted—or maybe I just looked in a way he disapproved of. I might have been acting like a brat,” she pondered.

Such comments were common during their relationship. Phrases like “Fix your face,” or “Watch your mouth,” were frequently used, illustrating the controlling environment she found herself in.

Ventura’s account is crucial to the prosecution’s case against prominent figures in the industry, who are alleged to have engaged in the sexual trafficking of women during events known as “freak-offs,” among other crimes.
