Cassie Ventura’s surprising statements about Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ ex-girlfriend, Kathy Ventura, took the stand on Tuesday to testify at his federal trial. Ventura, who is pregnant with her third child with husband Alex Fein, was the sole witness called by the prosecution during the second day of proceedings in Manhattan.

Over nearly eight hours of questioning, she recounted the troubling experiences from her 12-year relationship with Combs, famous for his song “I Miss You.”

Drug Use and Testimony

During her testimony, Ventura detailed the use of drugs like ketamine and cocaine, claiming they were a means of dissociating during what she referred to as “freak-off” parties. “I couldn’t imagine doing it without any buffer of any kind,” she explained to prosecutor Emily Johnson. She mentioned that ecstasy gave her feelings of euphoria, while cocaine made her heart race and mushrooms altered her perception. Interestingly, GHB, which is often associated with date rape, made her feel intoxicated.

She admitted that she often fell ill from drug use, sometimes even vomiting, and stated that Combs was aware of her sickness while participating in these parties.

The “Freak-Off” Parties

Ventura described how Combs often employed baby oil during these events, recalling a particularly odd instance involving an oil-filled pool. She felt compelled to participate in activities she wouldn’t normally agree to. Supply for these gatherings, including baby oil and lubricants, was typically arranged by Combs’ staff.

Ventura claimed that baby oil was always heated, adding a bizarre element to the parties. Combs was said to insist that everyone looked “shiny.” The atmosphere seemed meticulously choreographed, with Combs directing the events.

In March 2024, Combs’ properties in Los Angeles and Miami were subjected to searches linked to federal trafficking investigations, during which various items associated with the “freak-off” parties were allegedly seized.

Testimony on Sessions and Relationships

These “freak-off” sessions, Ventura noted, often lasted anywhere from 24 to 72 hours, and at their peak, could go on for up to four days. She described them as exhaustive and disclosed that the focus was solely on recovery afterward. “There was no room for anything but to recover,” she recalled.

She testified that Combs had a strange request during their relationship, asking her to refer to him by a nickname used by his grandfather, which she found odd.

The Legal Proceedings

Diddy faces serious allegations, including conspiracy and sex trafficking, stemming from a federal indictment. Prosecutors allege that Combs utilized his businesses as a front for criminal activities, involving threats and abuse to satisfy his desires. He maintains his innocence and could face a minimum of 15 years to life in prison if convicted.
