CBS analyst rips March Madness ref show after slew of fouls

REF appears to be mouth whispering easily in Providence on Saturday afternoon. One CBS analyst wasn't very happy at the game at St. John's Arkansas after two calls in the second half (including those that ended the night at Cadalie Richmond).

Richmond tried to defend himself as Carter Knox passed the 3-point shot and ran towards the basket with just under seven minutes left, but he hissed hist for the foul despite appearing to hold the ground defensively.

“It's not a foul,” said CBS analyst Steve Rappus. “Sorry. That's no call.”

Early in the half, with just over 13 minutes left, Arkansas' Dajuan Wagner Jr. missed a three-point attempt, and St. John's Big Man's Zby Egifall tried to box out under the glass for a rebound.

However, as the ball took care of the floor, whi came and shocked Ejo Fall was asked to foul.

After seeing the play unfold, the trumpet gave Cole a cruel and honest rating in the 32 rounds.

“Amazing! Sorry for a game like this, that's not a good call,” Rappas said.

Whistle was fast furious towards both teams in the second half, moving on to the final half at 11:58, with the Razorbacks' Zvonimir Ivisic fouling out of the contest to put Arkansas in a precarious place.

With 7:57 left, 16 total fouls were called in the second half.
