CBS executives are considering settling a $10 billion lawsuit brought by President-elect Donald Trump against the left-wing network for interfering in the 2024 presidential election.

In early November, the far left 60 minutes It was discovered that Vice President Kamala Harris had fabricated an interview to make her seem less stupid.

CBS News releases a clip promoting the upcoming movie 60 minutes Interview. In that clip, 60 minutes Correspondent Bill Whitaker asked her about the administration's inability to influence Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. This was her insane answer.

As a result of our work, many Israeli movements were born in the region. These movements were inspired by, or resulted from, many things, including our advocacy for what should happen in this region.

Can I buy croutons with that salad?

Ah, but then that answer was widely ridiculed. 60 minutes During the broadcast, the CBS cheaters removed that answer and replaced it with the following answer:

We're not going to stop pursuing what it takes to clarify where the United States stands on the need to end this war.

After the uproar, CBS eventually admitted that it had replaced the answers, but refused to release the full, unedited transcript of the interview.

Trump accused CBS of “partisan and unlawful conduct of election and voter interference through malicious, deceptive and gross news distortions intended to confuse, deceive and mislead the public.” and filed a lawsuit.

On top of that, CBS operates for free on public airwaves.

Well, after ABC News was forced to settle Trump's defamation suit for $15 million and CNN lost its defamation suit (already paid $5 million plus future punitive damages); CBS parent company Paramount Global thinks it might not want to sue. go to court:

Paramount Global executives are discussing internally and privately what it will take to resolve President-elect Donald Trump's lawsuit centered on CBS News. 60 minutes Interview with then-rival Kamala Harris[.]

CBS's parent company, Paramount Global, has a huge deal to sell to Skydance, which would involve transferring broadcast licenses from one side to the other. Personally, I hope President Trump does not compromise. The discovery process will no doubt reveal the emails, notes, texts, etc. that were involved in Camara's decision to change her answers.

At the very least, a settlement should be reached with the release of the full interview. CBS operates on public airwaves. The people have the right to see the truth.
