CBS PGA Tour ratings continue to trend up, WM Phoenix Open delivers strong numbers

LA JOLA, CA – CBS Sports continued its strong start to the 2025 golf season last week at TPC Scottsdale.

The network averaged 28.74 million viewers in the final round of the WM Phoenix Open. This led to Belgian Thomas Ditley slamming the field and winning with seven. Detrey's victory also marked the first victory of his PGA Tour career. A CBS Sports spokesperson said coverage peaked at 37.9 million viewers.

This year's ratings increased 21% compared to last year's WM Phoenix Open. Nick Taylor beat Charlie Hoffman in the two-hole playoffs, and by the time the Canadians were winning the title, it was during the first quarter. Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers It was almost complete.
