Celtic start Premiership defence with comfortable win over Kilmarnock | Scottish Premiership

Celtic began their Premiership title defence with a 4–0 home win over Kilmarnock.

Hatate Reo gave Celtic the lead in the 17th minute with a cool shot from the edge of the penalty area, and Liam Scales doubled their lead five minutes before the end of the first half when he headed in a Matt O’Reilly corner kick inside the far post.

Nikolas Gerrit Kuhn added a third in the 60th minute when his deflected shot went over the head of Kilmarnock goalkeeper Robbie McCrory, and Anthony Ralston rounded off the scoring in added time with his first Celtic goal since 2021.
