The Kristaps Porzingis was on the receiver of the elbow on the forehead.
But that didn’t stop him from making his free throws.
After Magic’s Paolo Banchelo missed a jumper that took less than a minute in the third quarter of the Celtics’ 109-100 Game 2 victory in Boston, Porzingis took a careless elbow on Noggin from Goga Vitaze as the two veeed for a loose ball.
Porzingis quickly fell on TD’s garden floor, blood flowing from the front of his head into his hair, and fell behind him as Bitadze checked him out.
After he rose from the floor, Porzingis was all smiles as he brought a towel to his head as he dripped down his face, and as he returned to the Celtics locker room and even a few fans high five.
Bitadze was handed a Flagrant 1 after a long review, and Porzingis now wrapped around a bandage and sewn it back to the floor to shoot a free throw, making a 2-1.
“Why am I not coming back? Of course my feet are back there,” Porzingis told reporters. “I like these moments…” I love my WWE moments. No one is going to make sure we don’t let the puncture. ”
