Charlamagne tha God: New York attorney general 'high' on Trump 'list'

God Charlamagne Tar has stated that New York attorney Letitia James is a target for possible actions from a second Trump administration.

Following her civil suit against Trump as he gears up for re-election, James has also taken legal steps against the federal government regarding efforts to undermine birthright citizenship and dismantle agencies nationwide.

“Trump has a list, and Letitia James is certainly on it. Alvin Bragg is too, although he seemed rather quiet about it. Maybe it’s just obvious. But, honestly, I believe this is retaliation,” he remarked.

In April, the Federal Housing Finance Agency forwarded a criminal referral to James, implicating her in alleged real estate fraud.

The agency accused her of designating a Virginia property as her primary residence in order to secure better loan rates.

James responded to these claims by saying, “This investigation is really just an act of retaliation. There’s no basis for it.”

She emphasized, “The power of attorney mistakenly labels me as a Virginia resident, but in reality, it clearly states that I am not and never will be a Virginia resident.”

Charlamagne highlighted the ongoing tensions between Trump and James, asserting, “You have to recognize that Letitia James is absolutely right about this. This whole situation is just retaliation for her actions against Trump.”
