Charlamagne Tha God Critiques Trump Over Controversial Comments on Mueller’s Death

Radio host Charlamagne Tha God issued a warning to former President Donald Trump, suggesting that the reactions to Robert Mueller’s death could evoke celebrations akin to Mardi Gras in New Orleans. This comment followed Trump’s post on Truth Social, expressing his satisfaction over Mueller’s passing.

“I’m glad he’s dead. He can’t hurt innocent people anymore,” Trump stated in his message after Mueller’s death was announced on Saturday. This has ignited discussions among the co-hosts of “The Breakfast Club.”

Charlamagne responded to Trump’s remarks by calling out the apparent hypocrisy, recalling Trump’s earlier denouncement of those who celebrated the death of political figures. He argued that such comments could tarnish Trump’s legacy further.

He added, “You’ve already ruined your life because you don’t care about democracy. You will go down as the worst president in history,” highlighting the notion that, upon Trump’s eventual passing, many might react with joy rather than sorrow.

“People will celebrate, and they won’t forget the hurt you’ve caused,” he continued. “Does it concern you how your family will remember you?”

In a comment to Fox News Digital, White House Press Secretary Davis R. Engle referenced Trump’s past insults toward Charlamagne, including calling him a “racist scumbag.” This, of course, added fuel to the ongoing tension between the two.

In a notable commentary, Trump countered, saying Charlamagne has “a low IQ” and lacks understanding of his accomplishments, including significant diplomatic achievements. Trump asserted that his presidency was more commendable than people acknowledge, despite facing challenges.

Mueller, who led the FBI from 2001 to 2013, was central to the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, an inquiry that dominated much of Trump’s first term. Mueller’s investigation resulted in charges against several Trump associates, including former campaign chairman Paul Manafort and national security adviser Michael Flynn.

While the investigation revealed extensive connections between the Trump campaign and Russian figures, it did not conclude any criminal conspiracy.
