Charlie Kirk's Casket Will Be Transported To Arizona On Air Force Two

Tragedy Strikes as Charlie Kirk is Shot

Charlie Kirk, alongside his family and friends, was visited today by Vice President JD Vance and the Second Lady, flying to his home in Phoenix, Arizona, aboard Air Force Two.

Earlier, the Vice President and the Second Lady had met with Kirk’s family and close friends in Salt Lake City, Utah, according to sources.

Kirk, the founder of Turning Point, was shot while addressing students at Utah Valley University. Tragically, he was just 31 years old.

President Donald Trump confirmed the news of Kirk’s death on Wednesday, following initial reports that he was in critical condition. During his speech, shots were fired from a distance of about 200 yards, striking Kirk in the neck, according to a university spokesperson.

“Out of nowhere, there was this loud shot, just one shot, and then I saw him hit in the neck,” a witness recalled.

In response to this horrific event, Trump announced that he would posthumously award Kirk the Presidential Medal of Freedom. He expressed his condolences, stating, “Before we begin, let us express the horror and sadness felt by so many Americans after Charlie Kirk’s brutal assassination. Charlie was a giant of his generation, a champion of freedom and an inspiration for millions. Our prayers are with his wonderful wife Erica and his beautiful children. They miss him dearly, as do I.”

Trump further commented on the upcoming award, stating, “I am pleased to announce soon that I will be awarding Charlie Kirk the Presidential Medal of Freedom after his passing.”

As of now, the FBI has yet to capture the suspect. The Salt Lake City Field Office has released surveillance images of a person they believe is connected to the shooting of Kirk.
