An 18-year-old motorist has been charged with murder after allegedly driving an Audi A4 at more than 100 mph in a minivan that killed a Washington mother and her three children, prosecutors said. announced.

Chase Daniel Jones had his mother, Andrea Hudson, 38, Boyd Buster Brown, 12, and sisters Matilda Wilcoxson, 13, and Eloise Wilcoxson, 12, in his car. He is accused of ramming her into another car and killing her. Officials said there were two cars on the road.

Authorities said Jones was driving 112 mph on a road with a 40 mph speed limit without even bothering to brake.

He was also seen weaving in and out of the roadway leading up to the fatal crash, according to a police report citing witnesses.

Buster Brown’s father, Jaron Brown, called his late son “one of the most fun-loving, adventurous kids.” According to the Seattle Times.

Hudson homeschooled her children and was described as a devoted mother and wife.
