Cheryl Hines’ Fury Over Olivia Nuzzi’s Claims

Cheryl Hines has angrily expressed her belief that Olivia Nuzzi is lying about a supposed relationship with her husband, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. A source shared that Hines described Nuzzi as a “terrible liar.” This revelation comes in the wake of Nuzzi’s upcoming book, “American Canto,” set to be released on December 2.

A friend of Hines revealed that the actress’s language reflects her deep anger towards Nuzzi, indicating she feels “really, really angry” about what she perceives as “falsehoods” in Nuzzi’s work. Last week, Nuzzi, 32, made headlines after discussing an alleged sexting exchange with Kennedy during an interview.

In response, Hines, 60, reportedly told a confidant: “He’s never going to love that woman, much less let her have his children.” She added that Nuzzi’s claims would be comical if they weren’t so harmful.

A spokesperson for Hines declined to provide comments on the situation.

Nuzzi, who has recently secured a notable position as Vanity Fair’s West Coast editor, doesn’t specifically mention Kennedy in her book. Instead, she refers to him only as a “politician” while detailing a relationship that allegedly developed through FaceTime and texts, but notably claims it was never physical.

Kennedy has denied any romantic involvement with Nuzzi, maintaining that their only interaction occurred during a 2023-2024 presidential campaign interview.

Sources have indicated that Hines was “heartbroken” following the revelations last year, noting that the “Curb Your Enthusiasm” star has worn her wedding ring less frequently as she considers divorce.

Nuzzi’s memoir has begun to circulate, with previews shared via Vanity Fair on Monday. In it, she confesses feelings of love for a “politician,” but only after he acknowledges his feelings for her. She admires his “fiery blue” eyes and reflects fondly on his “special complexity.” Interestingly, she mentions his nose as her favorite body part.

Recently, Nuzzi’s ex-fiancé Ryan Rizza recounted his perspective on his Substack, implying that Nuzzi might have also been unfaithful with former South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford.

In the context of repair and reconciliation in their marriage, Hines briefly touches on the scandal in her newly released memoir, “Unscripted,” implying that they’ve emerged stronger from the turmoil.

Cheryl reportedly feels that Nuzzi is using her book to damage both her marriage and Kennedy’s career.
