CHICAGO — Anti-Israel protests took place in Chicago for a fourth consecutive night on Thursday, the final day of the Democratic National Convention, where candidate Vice President Kamala Harris was scheduled to deliver a historic address to supporters.
The demonstrators gathered around 5 p.m. and marched under the direction of Chicago Police Superintendent Larry Snelling and his officers.
Thursday’s march passed through Park 578, further from the United Center, the site of the Democratic National Convention, than previous marches. Large numbers of riot police positioned themselves between the protesters and the DNC.

Another protester, wearing a “BLM” shirt, waved a large black flag while telling police: “You guys are scared.”
“There is only one solution: the intifada revolution” and “Long live Antifada” were chanted into loudspeakers as protesters waved placards and Palestinian flags.
