Tragic Death of Chicago Father in Assault

A father from Chicago, who was expecting his second child, was tragically killed in a violent attack outside a bar in the early morning hours. The police are currently interviewing four key individuals who have managed to avoid arrest for the past two weeks in this troubling case.

The victim, Alexander “Xander” Kazanowski, 25, was discovered unresponsive in the Avondale neighborhood around 3:20 a.m. on March 25 and succumbed to blunt force trauma.

Kazanowski, a model based in Illinois, was reportedly asked to leave the bar where he worked due to comments he made. After leaving, he had a confrontation with several individuals outside before he was found in critical condition.

He was rushed to a local hospital but unfortunately died a few days later, as authorities have confirmed.

According to Cook County Crime Stoppers, his body bore marks consistent with a severe beating, leading to a murder investigation by Chicago police. They have released footage showing four suspects connected to Kazanowski’s death.

Officials described the group as comprising three African American men and one Asian woman. Surveillance video shows the suspects entering the Tune Up bar on the night of the incident, but it’s uncertain whether the footage was recorded before or after the attack.

Kazanowski was in the process of building a modeling portfolio, particularly for bridal shoots, and he also served as the CEO and founder of Wurk, a company offering homemaking services in the Chicago area.

His partner, Tori, shared a heartfelt tribute on social media, reminiscing about their time together and expressing how much he meant to her.

Family members have described him as a “modern-day renaissance man,” highlighting his entrepreneurial spirit and spiritual values. They noted his vibrant personality and the deep impact he had on those around him, stating that he lived life with remarkable intensity, far beyond his 25 years.

“Our hearts are completely broken by the deep tragedy of losing such an irreplaceable person at such a young age,” his family mourned. Kazanowski leaves behind his partner, daughter Thea, an unborn son named John, as well as parents, siblings, and extended family.

In a fitting final act, Kazanowski chose to be an organ donor, saving multiple lives after his passing, a gesture that truly reflected his generous nature.
