A Chicago man has been charged with randomly shooting and killing four passengers as they slept on a train on Monday.
Lani S. Davis, 30, is charged with four counts of first-degree murder. Fox Chicago Reported.
Authorities said the four victims were shot while sleeping on a Chicago Transit Authority Blue Line train around 5:30 a.m.

Lani S. Davis, 30, of Chicago, is accused of shooting and killing four passengers who were sleeping on a train near Chicago.
The train Forest Park Station and CTA employees called police.
Three of the victims were pronounced dead at the scene, while the fourth victim was taken to Loyola University Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.
Two of the victims have been identified as Adrian Collins, 60, and Simeon Behesi, 28. The other two have so far only been identified as a man and a woman.

Davis fled the scene after the shooting but was arrested on the CTA Pink Line, and police reportedly recovered a gun during his arrest.
“This heinous and egregious act of violence should never have taken place on a public transportation train,” the CTA said in a statement.

Police said surveillance video showed Davis walking around the train car and shooting three victims who were seated separately.
The fourth victim was in a different car.
