Chicago radio host fired after threatening social media posts

The Dunburnstein saga is over. Ordercy's 670 has won a longtime Chicago Radio host.

The radio station announced the end of Bernstein at the noon show on Friday. Mitch Rosen, Score's Vice President and Brand Manager, provided the update.

The Bernstein exit comes a few days after the radio host enters a fiery social media exchange.

Social Media Beef came after users took a photo of himself last week, accusing Bernstein of killing the fish he caught.

Bernstein then challenged the user to a fight, claiming he had the person's address and phone number, and threatened to release the information.

“Where are you? I have your address and phone number. Want to publish it all? Do I still worry about you?” Bernstein posted before asking users if they wanted their children to get involved.

Shortly after the social media incident, Marshall Harris opened the show saying that Bernstein would air that week.

Bernstein has been a member of the Score since 1995 and has been a mainstay of Chicago Sports Media during his tenure.

In addition to his latest social media exchange, Bernstein also feuded with Dave Portnoy in September after going out to Barstool Eddy for introducing him by his last name.

“Can you call me Dan, you can call me Bernsee, but you don't know me that way,” Bernstein cut off with Eddie.

Bernstein was also removed from the board of Camp One Step, a Chicago-based program for children, earlier this week.
