Let’s start “No Fun League” again here…
If something like a gun goes off during a touchdown celebration, the NFL is cracking down here starting with the 2024 season, and one of the league's top superstars, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. is no exception.
After recently scoring a touchdown, Mahomes used his arm to create a gun while celebrating, resulting in the NFL coming to take a large chunk of his wallet. (Related: NFL's 'Thursday Night Football' Steelers vs. Browns game turns into a straight snow globe)
NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports that Mahomes was fined more than $14,000 for what the league deemed a “violent act.”
Mahomes is just one of many players who have been fined or fined for using guns during celebrations.

While we're here, this happened during Sunday's game between the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears, so expect another gun-related fine from the NFL.
looks like @NFL Another player who pretended to have a gun pointed at his waistline would be fined. They have issued fines for this kind of behavior before. pic.twitter.com/erSgggCeFh

I can understand the NFL when it comes to the “Trump dance,” but for some reason I can't get over the fact that Americans love guns.
