Chiefs Star Travis Kelce Takes Heat for Partying at Sports Bar Mere Hours After Parade Shooting

The shooting occurred Wednesday afternoon near Union Station during the Super Bowl celebration parade in Kansas City.

Lisa López Galván, a popular radio host, lost her life in the attack, making her the only fatality.

At least three people were taken into custody as persons of interest in the aftermath, one of whom was tackled by a spectator and taken into custody by police.

Kelce posted on X on Wednesday night that she was “heartbroken” by the shooting.

“I am heartbroken by the tragedy that occurred today. My heart goes out to everyone who came to celebrate with me and to everyone affected. KC, you mean the world to me,” he said. I wrote this in a post on February 14th.

While police and city officials are still investigating the incident and the facts are somewhat sparse, Kelce faced backlash for not being able to stop partying despite her “heartbreaking” feelings.
