Chris Watts is said to have requested a marriage license in prison for Lizzie Henderson.

Chris Watts, a convicted murderer serving multiple life sentences for the murders of his pregnant wife and two daughters, is reportedly in a new relationship with a woman named Lizzie Henderson.

Watts and Henderson met while he was incarcerated. He has been known to correspond with various female pen pals during his time in prison.

On August 13, 2018, investigators say that Watts killed his family, driven by an affair he was having at the time. By the end of that year, he had received a life sentence without the possibility of parole for the deaths of his wife, Shanann, who was 34, and their daughters, Bella and Celeste, aged four and three, respectively.

It’s worth noting that Watts pleaded guilty to all charges, which spared him from facing the death penalty. Henderson, who is originally from Cleveland, Ohio, has recently relocated to Wisconsin. Currently, Watts is held at Dodge Correctional Facility in Waupun, a maximum-security prison.

Reports suggest that Watts and Henderson have both expressed a desire to marry while in prison. In fact, records from Racine County, Wisconsin, show that Henderson filed to change her legal name, which had been kept confidential.

Henderson has talked about her relationship with Watts, mentioning that he understands her feelings and that the murders are a “tough thing for anyone to experience.” She, it seems, wants to be respectful of those affected.

Interestingly, Mr. Henderson was once a real estate agent with a Keller Williams Realty office in the Milwaukee area. When contacted, the firm confirmed she is no longer with them but chose not to discuss her employment history.
