Chrisleys come back from prison revealing shocking family secrets on 'Back to Reality'

Todd Chrisley: We’re Back on TV

Todd Chrisley’s children recently shared their thoughts on “My Views with Lala Trump,” discussing their views about the prison system in light of a former reality TV star’s pardon from President Donald Trump.

In the trailer for “Chrisleys: Return to Reality,” the children express feelings of betrayal regarding their family’s situation following Todd and Julie Chrisley’s 2022 conviction for bank fraud and tax evasion.

“Prosecutors read a letter Lindsay sent to the FBI. It feels like we’re no longer a family, like we’re losing our last name,” Savannah Chrisley remarked.

Grayson Chrisley added, “It’s crazy how your own blood can hurt you more than a stranger ever could.”

Todd and Julie Chrisley: Life Beyond Prison

The cameras have been capturing the Chrisley family’s story for three years, following the tumultuous events behind bars. “Our family feels so divided. Honestly, I told my parents I’m not sure if it can be fixed,” Savannah stated. “Just be real with each other.”

Chase Chrisley also expressed, “I want people to see what actually happened in my family. There’s a lot to sort through.”

The feud with Lindsay, who distanced herself from the family, initially began back in 2012 when she completely left the show “Chrisley Knows Best” in 2017. Lindsay has since discussed the fallout and the negative impact of the Chrisley name over the years.

Todd and Julie Chrisley Return to Reality TV Following Trump’s Pardon

After serving two and a half years in prison, Todd and Julie Chrisley were pardoned by President Trump in May, following their convictions which could have led to 19 years behind bars.

Savannah described the moment as shocking, saying, “I was just in disbelief and so grateful that the president took the time to help my family reunite.”

The couple’s attorney clarified that the pardon effectively erases their legal troubles, saying, “The pardon eliminates the case entirely. It’s like it never happened, so thankfully, Todd and Julie can now focus on moving forward with their lives.”

“The pardon process isn’t something many presidents utilize frequently, but this president seems to take a clear look at violations and the justice system,” the attorney noted. “It’s a powerful tool.”
