Christian Influencer Couple Arrested for Alleged Abuse

A well-known Christian influencer couple has been taken into custody following allegations of abuse involving a 14-year-old girl, as reported by Texas law enforcement.

39-year-old Seth Michael Day faces accusations of both sexual and physical assault against the girl, whose injuries were first observed by a high school teacher.

The student detailed various instances of abuse, stating she had informed authorities about some incidents, but claimed that Heather Day misled officials to conceal the truth.

The teacher, concerned about the girl’s injuries, informed the Keene police, who subsequently conducted an interview with her. During this questioning, the girl alleged a pattern of abuse, including an incident where she was struck with a cell phone.

After receiving medical attention at Cook Children’s Medical Center, the girl also made allegations of sexual assault by Day.

On September 22, she stated that the assault occurred while Heather Day was present in their home.

Following a search warrant execution at the couple’s residence, authorities reported finding evidence supporting the claims of physical and sexual abuse.

The girl asserted that she had been subjected to repeated abuse. She accused Heather Day of fabricating a story about having an autoimmune condition called hereditary angioedema, which the police mentioned could not account for the extent of the girl’s injuries.

Both Seth and Heather Day were processed at the Johnson County jail but later released on a $100,000 bond.

Heather Day runs a Christian podcast, and the couple has jointly authored several books, one of which is titled “I’ll See You Tomorrow.”

Additionally, Seth Day is known to be a professor at Southwestern Adventist University, though he has been placed on administrative leave following his arrest.

The university released a statement saying they are fully cooperating with law enforcement and that the allegations do not involve any of its students, faculty, or staff, emphasizing the safety of their community as a top priority.
