Christian Slain for Leading Muslims to Faith in Christ

nairobi, kenya (morning star news) – On March 8, Islamic extremists in eastern Uganda killed a Christian for leading Muslims to faith in Christ, sources said.

Kiisa Masoro, 45, was returning to his home in Nakitiku village, Bunabuka parish, Bubeza sub-county, Sironko district, at 7pm after preaching on the streets in Nakaloke and Busajabwankuba, when he was seen wearing Islamic attire. Seven masked men broke in and took them away. said her mother, Nora Nandege.

“After we drove him away, three men remained and said to me, ‘Allah is very displeased with your son and we are preparing to punish him.'” Nandege told Morning Star News. “Then the three left.”

She said she called the clan leader when she arrived, but was told she should wait until the next morning before taking action. When her son did not appear the next morning, she reported her abduction to the third speaker of the local council and a search began.

“After four hours of searching, the body of my son Masoro was found lying lifeless in the bushes, with a note in Arabic that I couldn’t read,” Nandege said. “A person fluent in Arabic was called to read a script that read, “We warned our Muslim brothers and sisters not to convert to Christianity, and you did not heed our warning.” This has finally cost you your life.”

She said the Muslims had left multiple warnings and threats on Masolo’s cellphone asking her to stop converting Muslims to Christianity.

“I tried to advise my son to pay close attention to his life, but he often reminded me that his life was in God’s hands and that he was called to preach the gospel of Christ. He said,” Nandege told Morning. Star News. “Since then, I knew that my son’s life was in danger and that he might not live long because of the numerous threatening messages from Allah that were trying to kill him.”

Masolo’s body, which had deep cuts on his head and neck, was taken to a mortuary in Mbale for autopsy and further investigation. He was a member of Calvary Temple, Mbale.
