Christian author and pro-life activist Ryan Bomberger announced last week that he is in remission from cancer. “God is really good,” Bomberger said. “When we’re in the middle of not just physical battle but spiritual battle, we don’t like to wait, right? But miracles are worth the wait.”
Reports say Christian PostBomberger reflected on how his faith helped him stay strong despite the uncertainty of what his cancer diagnosis would bring.
“Anyone who is dealing with issues that make them feel like, ‘I can’t do this, how do I get through this?’ may not find the physical healing they need this side of heaven, but even in the midst of the physical struggle there is often the spiritual healing and renewal that is needed, and that’s what I needed,” he said.
“No matter what physical miracles happen on this side of heaven or the other side of heaven, God is really good. He is still good and He loves us. We have to make the most of our lives here. Let’s make the most of every minute.”

“I know God has healing this side of heaven. I know He can preempt any surgery (next week) with a miracle that will baffle the doctors but prove His divine ability. Sometimes, no matter how little faith you have, God makes a different choice than our heart cries. I don’t understand it. I especially didn’t when I lost my father as COVID-19 raged. But throughout my life I have seen God do amazing work turning tragedy into triumph,” he wrote at the time.
He also continued to travel and speak on behalf of the organization. Radiance FoundationHe co-founded the company with his wife, Bethany Bomberger.
“The devil loves to use fear to his advantage. I refuse to be controlled by it. If I give up, the devil wins. … I have continued to fight culture-shaping issues in television and radio interviews and I continue to speak out boldly on social media,” Bomberger wrote.
“In my heart, I still have many years left to fight for. My work with Radiance Foundation will continue with the same passion but in a different way as I shift to creating more online content and traveling less. Most importantly, I will continue to be the husband and father my family needs.”
