Christina Haack is finally speaking out about her ex, Josh Hall, and his recent social media posts.
During an interview with Page Six’s “Virtual Reality,” while promoting her new champagne brand Clé Cachet, Haack didn’t hold back her thoughts on Hall’s online behavior post-breakup.
When asked about it, she simply stated: “I’m not lying.”
Haack, who is 42, and Hall, who is 44, wrapped up their contentious divorce earlier this year after being together for nearly three years. Initially, they seemed to present a united front, even co-producing her successful HGTV series Christina on the Coast after tying the knot in 2022, but things took a turn as fans began noting vague online posts and Hall unfollowing her.
On October 1st, Hall made a post on his Instagram Story that many interpreted as a dig at Haack, stating, “Never argue with a liar. They can’t win because they believe their lies.”
Haack didn’t seem fazed by it, making it clear during the interview that she finds it somewhat unimpressive.
“Well, for those who say they don’t seek attention, if I were in their position and not in the public eye, I’d just create a private Instagram account,” she remarked. “Then I wouldn’t have to worry about it.”
She further critiqued Hall’s online behavior, saying, “For someone who claims to be so manly, maybe that’s not so manly.” It seemed she implied that his veiled comments about her were rather ungracious.
When asked if she thought Hall’s public persona was immature, Haack concurred, acknowledging that their differing ways of handling life in the spotlight contributed to their relationship issues.
“I think so too. So why didn’t it fit?” she remarked with a straightforward tone.
Haack, who has two children from her first marriage to Tarek El Moussa and another from her second marriage to Ant Anstead, has shared her journey of moving on from the past. Currently, she’s focused on both her personal growth and professional ventures.
With the next season of “The Flip Off” in the works and the launch of Clé Cachée, she’s channeling her energy into this new chapter.
