Christopher Wray should face legal action.

FBI Director Under Fire for Alleged Misconduct

The FBI Director has a primary responsibility: to uphold integrity, courage, and honesty, as outlined in the agency’s motto. This isn’t just about ethics; there’s a legal obligation to Congress that must also be met. Former Director Christopher Wray has seemingly failed in this respect. A surveillance project recently submitted criminal referrals to the Department of Justice and the FBI, calling for a thorough investigation.

The lawsuit against Wray centers on two significant issues.

While transparency is crucial, the American public seeks accountability.

First, US Customs and Border Protection intercepted a staggering 20,000 counterfeit driver’s licenses linked to the Chinese Communist Party. This counterfeit initiative was allegedly part of an effort to disrupt the 2020 election by promoting mail-in voting for Joe Biden. He recently informed Senator Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) that prior FBI leadership had “chosen to play politics and withhold important information from Americans.” It’s hard to believe Wray was unaware, as he consistently asserted the safety of the 2020 election, which, I think, may have been misleading at best.

Secondly, Wray misrepresented details regarding the FBI’s so-called “Catholic memo.” He asserted that it originated from a single office in Richmond and that subsequent documents had been retracted. Grassley has countered that “If individuals lie to Congress without consequences, it only fosters more dishonesty.”

The surveillance project has documented several instances where Wray’s sworn testimony contradicted existing evidence. In September 2020, during a Senate committee hearing, he denied any organized voter fraud. He reiterated in March 2021 that foreign interference wasn’t a significant threat, all while receiving briefings from Nikki Floris, the head of the FBI’s election security task force, who acknowledged a Chinese influence campaign as early as July 2020.

Honestly, it’s hard to believe he was oblivious to these events. If he knew and chose to lie, that’s even more troubling. Either way, I can see why many feel he’s unfit for his position.

Wray’s track record doesn’t exactly exude confidence. He dismissed Antifa as a fringe ideology despite mounting evidence of violence and collaborated on initiatives to censor protected speech, like the Hunter Biden laptop story, branding credible sources as conspiracy theorists. He allocated vast resources to pursue low-level offenders for the January 6th events, while seemingly ignoring the larger international threats.

During Wray’s tenure, the FBI has appeared to prioritize investigations into Republicans based on shaky claims, all while turning a blind eye to alarming connections between the Biden family and China. He seems to favor agents who adhere to certain political narratives while punishing whistleblowers questioning the FBI’s impartiality.

Ironically, there was significant oversight concerning the monitoring of Catholic organizations.

Under Wray, the FBI has seemingly neglected its legal obligations, both to Congress and the public. The agency continues to resist efforts to release documents that could expose potential abuses of power.

Wray’s legacy may become emblematic of political bias—acting decisively when it impacts the right and staying silent when the left is involved. His failures to disclose crucial election-related information and his misleading statements regarding targeting Catholics suggest a troubling pattern of deceit.

The criminal referrals from the surveillance project present a chance for the DOJ and the FBI to regain public trust. While transparency remains vital, the demand for accountability is clear.

This situation may just be the tip of the iceberg. I suspect that Wray, along with others, is part of a broader scheme infringing on civil rights. The process of uncovering this conspiracy should kick off with the prosecution of Christopher Wray.
