Democratic strategist Chuck Rosha argued that President Trump's popularity can be explained by the fact that Democrats embrace the policies they once stood for.
Many Democrats, still upset after Trump's victory in November, are still trying to understand how their party has lost to someone as controversial as Trump.
CNN's “Laura Coates Live” featured the segment on Friday, with the host and her guests being asked by callers about American politics.
One caller said, “My question is, Donald Trump is a very scary guy. What makes him so popular?”
Kerrville acknowledges Trump's fast pace is piqued Democrats: “We're overwhelmed.”
Democratic strategist Chuck Rosha lamented that Trump's popularity was driven by the acceptance of practical policies Democrats abandoned years ago.
“This is my favorite question,” replied Rosha. “We talked about it in this program before. I wanted to fight NAFTA in 1989, so I joined the Democrats in 1989. I wanted to drain the swamps. . It was wasted.”
The Democratic strategist said, “It sounds like Donald Trump today. So what we lost to him is that we let him steal our words. We work America. Stop talking about people, keeping America safe and doing what we did when we did. I went to this party, and that's why he was like a Democrat. He's not afraid of enough people to lose the election, as he hears.
Former Trump campaign adviser Brian Lanza rejected the idea that Trump was totally scary.

“Listen, I don't think Trump would be scared if it wasn't for him in Washington, DC,” he said.
Instead, he suggested that what really scares me is the out-of-control bureaucracy that invades our lives every day, and people want to change from that point on.”
“I think that's why. You know, you feel scared, but more and more people feel happy with what's going on,” he added. .
“You should be sitting here. I'm scared,” Rosha said.
“I'm not scared. I'm Latino, I'm not scared,” Lanza joked in her reply, laughing from Rosha.
