Claire McCaskill laments that Hunter Biden pardon gives ‘ammunition’ to Republicans: ‘I just hate it’

Former Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill lamented on Monday that President Biden's decision to pardon her son Hunter is “ammunition” for President Trump's world.

“When I saw this pardon last night, I wish I wasn't on TV today. But if I am, I'm really happy to be on TV with you,” McCaskill said. Ta. told Nicole Wallace on MSNBC's “Deadline: The White House.”

The announcement came after White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre repeatedly insisted in recent years that she would accept the outcome of Hunter's federal trial.

Other Democrats and members of the liberal media also criticized Biden's decision, while defending the president.
