Ariel Anderson and Alexandria Varner were murdered on February 13 last year during a night class at Berkey Hall. Another student, Brian Fraser, was also shot and killed in another building. Five more students were injured by the gunman, who committed suicide several miles away after hours of manhunt.
Classes have resumed at Berkey Hall, but the room where the violence occurred has been sealed off. Staff offices reopened for the fall semester.
