Clay Travis Increases Reward for Information in Cameron Frierson’s Shooting

Clay Travis, the founder of OutKick, has announced his intention to increase the existing $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest in the shooting death of 16-year-old Cameron Frierson by four times.

According to a report from the New York Post, Frierson was attending a football game at Pearl-Cohn High School in Nashville on Friday when he was shot in a drive-by incident afterwards.

FOX 17 reported that Frierson was “walking with his younger brother” when shots were fired from a “white sedan with tinted windows.”

After being taken to a hospital, Frierson sadly succumbed to his injuries.

His mother, Brittney Frierson, expressed her devastation, stating, “It wasn’t over a girl. This wasn’t over any money. This was strictly these kids looking to harm someone. And they thought that someone that they were looking for were my children, and it wasn’t… You don’t have a right to take no one’s life. You don’t get that right.”

The Uvalde Foundation for Kids is also offering a $5,000 reward for any leads that could help identify and apprehend those responsible for Frierson’s death.

In a post on X, Clay Travis mentioned that he was present at the same game as Frierson before the tragic incident. He pledged to raise the reward amount by tripling it, contributing an additional $15,000: “A 16-year-old Nashville kid, Cameron Frierson, was murdered outside a high school football game I attended Friday. There’s a $5k reward for info. I’m tripling the reward to 20k. Shooter was in a white car at Pearl-Cohn HS. If you know anything, please help.”

Travis’ promised contribution effectively quadruples the total reward.
