Far-left climate change activists threw water on a Tesla Cybertruck electric vehicle exhibition venue in Germany on Saturday to protest against “the way the super-rich are tackling global warming.”
In a further demonstration of the questionable standards of climate extremists, members of the youth climate activist group Letzte Generation (The Last Generation) covered a Cybertruck in orange paint in Hamburg.
“The SUV is touring Germany as a showpiece, symbolizing how the super-rich are dealing with global warming: strapping themselves into a luxury car and driving straight into climate hell,” the group wrote on X, which is owned by Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
Protester Hendrik Fauer added: “This truck is a perfect example of where the anti-social policies of the past decades have led us: a few rich people with heavy equipment rushing into catastrophe, taking everyone with them.”
The Last Generation also cited the alleged dangers posed by Tesla’s Gigafactory in Grünheide and accused Tesla founder Elon Musk of “putting the health of thousands at risk in other ways.”

The second-largest SUV is sold in Germany and is twice as fuel efficient as its higher-grade counterparts. It also has a roomy interior that matches that of a luxury car.

Tesla has increasingly become a target of environmental activists in Germany, where in May hundreds of activists tried to storm its factory outside Berlin.
according to Protesters carried banners claiming that the electric car factory was using too much water, and some said people should only use public transportation instead of private cars, according to the Associated Press.
This comes after climate activists Vulkangruppe (Volcano Group) targeted the same factory in March, leading to a suspected arson attack that resulted in the deactivation of a high-voltage electricity pylon and the cut-off of electricity supply to the factory.
“They’re either the dumbest eco-terrorists on the planet or puppets of people who don’t have good environmental goals. It would be extremely stupid to stop making electric cars instead of fossil fuel cars,” Musk said at the time.
