CNN host Dana Bash on Thursday told Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas that Donald Trump has accused President Biden of allowing migrants to cross the border to change the “electoral dynamics” of the United States. asked him to respond to his claims.

Biden stopped in Brownsville, Texas, during a visit to the southern border last week. He called on Republicans to support the Senate border security bill, saying, “The time to act is long past.”
“It’s very simple. It’s time to act. It’s long past time to act,” the president said. “The time has come to tackle this. We can’t wait any longer.”
“My friends, this bipartisan border security bill is a win for the American people, a win for the people of Texas, and it’s fair for the people who have a right to come here,” Biden said.
