After Michael Cohen, the star witness in President Trump’s hush money trial, confessed to stealing $60,000 from his former boss, even CNN is acknowledging that President Trump might not be so bad after all.
“The way this issue was directly addressed and dealt with was what Julia Louis-Dreyfus would call, ‘Yada, yada, yada,'” CNN’s senior legal analyst began on a recent show. “That’s how Michael Cohen described it: ‘That’s what should have been paid, and I didn’t think Mr. Trump deserved the difference.'”
“That’s very different from, ‘I stole $60,000 from my boss in the transaction that is at the heart of this case,'” he continued.
“By the way, the fact that he was not charged with theft is important because stealing $60,000 by fraud, which is a theft offense in New York State, is a more serious crime than falsifying business records.” the analyst concluded.
Sara Gonzalez I’m shocked at CNN’s honesty.
“This is from CNN,” she says, astonished. “Don’t forget, this is their star witness. He’s a liar. A known convicted perjurer. He’s a con artist. Even CNN is forced to admit that their star witness has committed a crime more serious than falsifying business records.”
Jaco Booyens agrees, but also understands why Trump is being persecuted in this way.
“The star witness is not a threat to the ongoing Deep State government agenda,” Booyens said. “And in fact, it’s not even Donald Trump. It’s the will of the American people, which the man Donald Trump represents.”
