Braun, 57, has served as COO since January, overseeing Coca-Cola’s global operations. He joined the company back in 1996 and has worked in various roles with increasing responsibility throughout his career.
In his upcoming position, Braun aims to focus on global growth, meet consumer demands, and enhance technology use to boost business outcomes.
Quincey’s Legacy at Coca-Cola
Quincey, aged 60, became CEO in 2017, transforming Coca-Cola into a “total beverage company.” Under his leadership, the company reportedly added over $10 billion in new brands and advanced digital modernization efforts. He also navigated the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to reports, Coca-Cola’s stock has seen a nearly 63% increase since Quincey stepped into the CEO role.
Quincey’s Farewell Message
“As I conclude my time as CEO after three decades with the company, I feel privileged to have contributed to such a longstanding and remarkable business,” Quincey remarked. “Enrique is a trusted, seasoned partner and the ideal leader to guide the company into its next chapter of growth and success.”
