Late-night comedians Jimmy Kimmel, Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart used their shows Monday to attack President-elect Donald Trump and Republican leaders during the rampage in Los Angeles — both Trump and Republicans blame Democrats. Although not a person–a county or state that is administered.
Jimmy Kimmel even accused President Trump of being racist towards firefighters. The comedian dishonestly conflated opposition to DEI with racism and made a laughably ridiculous claim.
During each broadcast, the comedians made no mention of California's Democratic leaders, who are ultimately responsible for managing the ongoing disaster.
ABC's Jimmy Kimmel specifically criticized Trump in his opening monologue, falsely claiming that Trump had made racist comments about firefighters.
“And tonight, I don't want to get into the vile, irresponsible, stupid things that a supposed future president and his vile group dared to say during their darkest and most frightening times.” “The fact that they made the choice to attack firefighters on our behalf, who are obviously not white, is putting their lives at risk on our behalf. Trump has never attacked firefighters because of their race. Indeed, Republicans and a growing number of left-wing leaders have criticized the LA Fire Department in recent years for prioritizing DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) over competent leadership.
Jon Stewart used the Comedy Central broadcast to daily show It came Monday to attack Republican lawmakers who called on California leaders to get their act together before receiving taxpayer relief.

Colbert defended California's left-wing leaders against criticism that their policies had made the fires much worse, blaming it all on strong winds in recent days.
