College Football Incident Leads to Tragedy

Over the weekend, a physical confrontation in Rhode Island resulted in one college football player dead, another injured, and an illegal alien facing murder charges.

Chukwunonso Uzoma David Uzoma Eze, a Nigerian national, reportedly stabbed two men during a dispute in a parking lot by the Mezzo Lounge around 12:30 a.m. on Saturday.

Eze was apprehended by UMass Dartmouth police, charged with murder, and is also a student at the university.

Reports indicate he had been granted deferred action from deportation twice—first under the Biden administration and again under former President Trump’s administration, according to an insider.

The victims, both players on the UMass Dartmouth football team, were identified as 18-year-old Marvins Antoine, who sustained a fatal chest wound, and 19-year-old Kensley Macean, who survived after being stabbed in the head and neck.

The suspect entered the U.S. legally in 2015 but is now classified as a “criminal illegal alien from Nigeria,” as per a spokesperson from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Following his arrest, ICE Boston issued a detainer request for Eze.

The spokesperson stated, “Under President Trump and Secretary Mullin, criminal illegal aliens are not welcome in the U.S. ICE is committed to removing these violent, dangerous offenders from our communities.”

Deferred action status allows a migrant to stay in the U.S. but does not confer legal status. Eze was granted this protection in September 2022 and again in October 2025 under the Trump administration.

He had also sought a work permit in 2023, which was denied.

Earlier that evening, the UMass Dartmouth football team had played a game. Providence Police Chief Oscar Perez noted the department utilized Flock cameras to assist in tracking and identifying Eze.
