A quick-thinking Colorado police officer chased and captured a fleeing felon suspect who commandeered a child's bicycle, hot footage of the pursuit has revealed.
The thrilling chase unfolded as Lone Tree Police Officer Jacob Tarr attempted to apprehend the suspect in a Nov. 23 burglary near Denver, authorities said.
The suspect, whose name has not been released, began running and jumped several fences before stealing a getaway child's electric scooter.
Tarr's body camera captured him quickly jumping onto a small green bike from his front yard and pedaling down the street in pursuit of the suspected thief.
A neighbor's Ring doorbell camera also captured the moment the officer drove past on a comically small bicycle.
Police said Tarr, with the help of other officers, was able to quickly catch up with the suspect and take him into custody.
