Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Brendan Kerr on Wednesday said the Comcast-owned outlet was misleading Americans about the so-called “Maryland Man,” a “part of the violent MS-13 gang.”
“Comcast outlets have spent days misleading the American public – hinting at it [Kilmar] Abrego Garcia was just a law protecting American citizens, just a regular “Maryland man.” When the truth comes out, they ignore it. “Comcast knows that federal law requires licensed businesses to serve the public interest,” Carr wrote.
He continued, “News distortions don’t cut it down. Abrego Garcia came to America illegally from El Salvador and was verified as a member of the violent MS13 gang, a multinational criminal organization.
Kerr responded to the White House communications director. Steve Chen cheated CNN and MSNBC for refusing air footage of angel mom Patty Morin and discussed “the horrifying tragedy of an illegal killing her sweet daughter, Rachel.”
Democrats and other leftists jumped to the defense of Kilmer Abrego Garcia, a 29-year-old illegal immigrant who was arrested and deported from Maryland in March to El Salvador.
Deputy Director of Homeland Security (DHS) Tricia McLaughlin pointed to evidence that Garcia is a member of the MS-13 gang.
1. When Garcia was arrested, he was found with cash and drug rolls.
2. He was arrested on two other members of the MS-13.
3. Two judges discovered that he is a member of MS-13. That discovery is uninterrupted.
4. When he was arrested, he was effectively wearing an MS-13 uniform.
Kerr previously launched a study on Comcast’s diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) practices. He describes this type of DEI practice as “a mysterious form of discrimination” that could violate “FCC regulations and civil rights laws.”
Comcast says promoting DEI is “the core value of our business,” and the public report states that Comcast includes the annual “DEI infrastructure.”[s]”DEI Training for Company Leaders,” and similar initiatives,” Carr wrote in February.
