Supreme Court Decision on Gun Ownership for Marijuana Users

The Supreme Court has made a significant ruling, stating that individuals who regularly use marijuana cannot be denied the right to own firearms. This unanimous decision, reported by Fox News host Sean Hannity, clarifies that current federal gun laws do not allow for such restrictions. Legal analyst Greg Jarrett elaborated on the 9-0 ruling, highlighting the differences between recreational usage and serious addiction, drawing a parallel to Hunter Biden’s legal troubles involving crack cocaine and firearms.

House Committee Investigation into Biden Administration

In another development, a powerful House committee is intensifying its examination of the Biden administration over accusations of collusion with gun control advocates. House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer has called upon the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) to provide documents that reflect communication between Biden’s key aides and Everytown for Gun Safety, a prominent gun control organization established by billionaire Michael Bloomberg.

Comer’s committee has claimed that the now-defunct Biden office might have collaborated with Everytown to support a lawsuit against Glock, a firearms manufacturer, initiated by the city of Chicago.

“These records will help us determine if there was a conspiracy to undermine private gun manufacturers with laws that infringe on Second Amendment rights,” Comer stated in a letter. Fox News Digital has reviewed correspondence from the ATF related to this issue.

Lawsuit Allegations Against Glock

In March 2024, Chicago filed a lawsuit against Glock, accusing the company of selling pistols that could be easily modified to function like automatic weapons. The lawsuit claims, “Glock knows that converting its pistols into illegal machine guns takes little effort and occurs frequently among criminals.”

The letter from Comer referenced a meeting between the White House Office to Prevent Gun Violence (WHOGVP) and Glock, where officials reportedly pressured the manufacturer to adjust its pistol designs. Following this interaction, Everytown President John Feinblatt noted on X that federal authorities had recently urged Glock to come up with methods to prevent easy modifications, but the company claimed it couldn’t do anything.

Comer posits that Feinblatt may have had access to inside information regarding private discussions between WHOGVP and Glock, raising concerns over potential collusion between the Biden administration and Everytown regarding the lawsuit against Glock.

Legal Proceedings and Political Connections

The case remains ongoing in court, with a Cook County judge having denied Glock’s attempt to dismiss it in September 2025. Comer underlined the close association between President Biden’s administration and Everytown, notably pointing out that Rob Wilcox, a Biden aide, served at Everytown for eight years before joining WHOGVP. Additionally, Biden participated in Everytown’s annual training event, Gun Sense University, in June 2024, affirming his support for a national assault weapon ban.

Recently, the Republican-led committee asked the National Archives and Records Administration for details on communications between the Biden administration and Everytown. Previous subpoenas issued to both Biden’s ATF and Everytown concerning possible collaborative efforts have received no responses.

In closing, Comer suggested that the ongoing investigation might help determine whether new laws are necessary to address issues related to record-keeping and the potential mishandling of personal information by officials aligned with certain political agendas. An ATF spokesperson has not commented on the matter.
