Tara Reid Claims She Was Drugged in Chicago Hotel

Actress Tara Reid reported on Sunday that she was drugged and subsequently passed out while staying at a hotel near Chicago, Illinois.

According to a video released by TMZ, Reid appeared to be in distress, struggling to maintain her balance and, at times, having difficulty sitting in her wheelchair. Friends and paramedics attempted to calm her down, as she seemed to exhibit slurred speech. The footage depicted Reid nearly collapsing before medical professionals placed her on a stretcher and transported her to a hospital. Details about her hospitalization duration remain unclear.

Reid explained to TMZ that she checked into the hotel late Saturday and went downstairs, where she ordered a drink at the bar. After that, she stepped outside for a cigarette and met some YouTubers in the hotel lobby who joined her.

Upon returning to the bar, she noticed a napkin covering her drink, claiming that she hadn’t been the one to put it there. She mentioned she remembered removing the napkin and sipping water from the glass, but then suddenly woke up in the hospital with no recollection of the events in between.

In the background of the video, some bystanders appeared to be laughing.

Reid has previously discussed her struggles with substance abuse but insisted on Sunday that she had consumed only one drink before the incident.

A person who filmed the video mentioned hearing Reid shout, “You don’t know who I am. I’m famous. I’m an actress.” However, the identity of this individual and the person responsible for allegedly tampering with her drink remain unknown.

As of now, reports indicate that Reid has not filed a police report regarding the incident.
