Newsom launches podcast with former NFL star Marshawn Lynch

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) is launching a podcast with retired NFL star Marshawn Lynch and his agent, iHeartMedia announced on Wednesday. The launch of the show, titled “Politickin’,” comes as Newsom has been mentioned as a possible candidate to replace Biden in the 2024 presidential election if Biden chooses to end his campaign. iHeartMedia called the pairing “unexpected,” but the governor is close with Lynch’s agent, Doug Lynch.
