Conor McGregor and Dee Devlin Marry in Vatican City

Conor McGregor and his long-time partner, Dee Devlin, got married in a private ceremony in Vatican City on Friday.

They exchanged vows along with their four children at the Basilica of Santo Stefano degli Abyssini, a historic chapel situated within the Vatican walls, as reported by TMZ.

The ceremony was intimate, featuring dancers and fireworks before they celebrated at a castle reception.

McGregor, 37, and Devlin, 38, became engaged in 2020 after being together for twelve years.

Throughout their relationship, McGregor has often expressed how vital Devlin has been in his life.

He once described her as a “lifesaver,” a sentiment he voiced back in 2013.

Despite a challenging year, the former UFC champion ended 2025 on a positive note.

Earlier in March, he had announced his intention to run for President of Ireland but suspended his campaign in September.

McGregor remarked, “This was not an easy decision, but it was the right one at this time.”

During his campaign, rapper Azealia Banks made accusations in a now-deleted post, claiming he had sent her unsolicited nude photos, which drew significant backlash.

In response to Banks, he commented on social media, “While they blindly rob our country!”

Additionally, he has faced legal issues in Ireland relating to sexual assault charges. In November 2024, a civil jury found him liable for the assault and ordered him to pay around €250,000 in damages, a verdict that he has denied, claiming the encounter was consensual. He has appealed this ruling.

In July 2025, however, the Irish Court of Appeal upheld the original judgment, dismissing all of his appeal grounds. A further attempt to challenge the case was rejected in early December.
