Conservatives are Lee Zeldin, a true conservative and environmentalist, and an EPA administrator. I said On Monday appearances Alex Marlow Show.
Host and Breitbart's news editor-in-chief, Alex Marlowe, pointed out in the debate that the entire concept of environmentalism was “hijacked by cultural Marxism and awakened leave.”
“But conservationism, I think it's a really conservative concept inherently, and I think we're generally better custodians of the land than the left,” he said.
Zeldin agrees, and on a very basic level, most Americans want access to clean air, land and water. Furthermore, they are interested in conservation despite the topic from the left.
“First and foremost, they are interested in conservation,” Zeldin said.
“When it passed parliament, we saw it. We were gathering voices from the entire political sphere of the country to save land. There are a lot of people who are fishermen, hunters, and spend their lives dedicated to their love for the environment,” he says, “They cherish it. They want to protect it.”
“This is nothing new. It's part of the country's long, rich history. We want to do our part to leave that next generation to an environment that is better than the last,” he continued.
Zeldin said it is essential for the federal agency (in his case, the EPA) to focus on its core mission. Its focus is always on “protecting human health and the environment,” and it is important that federal agencies continue to recognize that Americans are aware of their biggest issues and demands, what they expect from the federal government.
“The EPA is part of the National Energy Control Council. The EPA is part of the Secretary [Robert F.] Kennedy's [Jr.] Zeldin continued, highlighting the need for ongoing collaboration and re-commissioning America.
“We can't all be silent in our own box,” the former New York lawmaker explained.
“And when you talk about allowing reform, that's one of the issues. One agency has their permit reform lanes. It's a long process, and then you get kicked by several other agencies in other processes with different rules in your constituency, and it takes a long time, and people say, “Hey, I'm now in the federal government for a year and a half now. No one is raising this issue as something I need to deal with. Why didn't you guys tell me 15 months ago?” It's all part of the permission for reform conversation,” Zeldin explained.
Ultimately, EPA administrators said they believe that they have “very strong bipartisan support across America” for their efforts.
“It transcends politics and a desire to protect this beautiful land we call home,” he added.
