Conservatives flip script on Senate Dems pushing identical talking points against Trump

Social media conservatives denounced Senate Democrats for posting videos in the same script ahead of President Donald Trump's joint speech to Congress on Tuesday night.

The same video mashup, which includes Sen. Cory Booker, led the “Sh-” social media campaign and went viral on social media. Many conservatives on social media, including Elon Musk, have asked, “Who writes the words the doll speaks? That's the real question.”

Senator Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass. , and Chuck Schumer of Dn.Y. led the charges on matching social media videos this morning. Around 20 Senate Democrats have since followed their own identical posts.

The video begins with a Trump clip swearing to “down the price from day one.” Then there was a Senate Democrat cut.

“Since the first day of Donald Trump's presidency, prices have been rising and not falling. Inflation is getting worse and not getting better. Prices for groceries, gas, housing, rent, eggs – they're all getting expensive. Donald Trump did nothing to a low cost for you.”

The social media campaign reflects the Democratic National Committee's broader media strategy ahead of Trump's joint speech to Congress. The DNC instructs Democrats to focus their message on tonight's economy, and advises Democrats to tell voters that Trump is breaking its promise to boost the US economy while lowering prices and promoting billionaire cabinets.

“The truth hurts at times. Donald Trump has promised to lower prices on the “first day” of his presidency, but he couldn't. Instead, inflation has accelerated, costs have risen, and Trump's actions have made things worse. The Democrats emphasize speaking in a unified voice.

“Every time Fox News plays this video, the angel gets his wings. I hope you keep playing it,” a Schumer spokesperson told Fox News Digital.
