Conservatives joke Biden made Trump campaign ad by calling Harris a ‘major player in everything’ admin does

Many conservative commentators said Friday that President Biden is keeping Vice President Kamala Harris so close to his administration's track record that it is a boon for former President Trump's campaign.

Conservatives on social media are calling it a gift to the Trump campaign as Ms. Harris looks to turn the page on Mr. Biden's troubled presidential campaign.

Fox News contributor Joe Concha mocked the statement, writing, “Look! It's a campaign ad!”

Trump campaign adviser Chris Lacivita joked, “I'm Donald Trump and I approved this message.”

FOX News contributor Guy Benson shared a similar quip, saying, “'I approve of Donald Trump, and this message.'”

“Hahahaha!” laughed Sky News presenter Rita Panahi. “Thank you Joe.”

CNN commentator Scott Jennings wrote, “He's literally trying to destroy her campaign. It's unbelievable.”

Biden's sudden media appearance came at about the same time Harris was speaking at a major event, causing networks to cut away from her and focus on the president instead.

CNN host Boris Sanchez said Friday: “I was actually about to broadcast live to Vice President Kamala Harris, who was speaking in Detroit, Michigan, and apparently she was talking about ending this port strike.'' ” he said. “She's trying to appeal to union members and then the president of the United States comes out and clearly overshadows her and makes her answer important questions.”
