Conservatives Rally for Bernie Moreno on Election Day: ‘Ohio Is Ground Zero’

As voters headed to the polls Tuesday, conservatives rallied behind Republican Senate candidate Bernie Moreno, warning that “Ohio is ground zero” in the fight for the future of the Republican Party.

Bernie Moreno, a businessman backed by President Trump, is running in the Republican primary in Ohio, aiming to take Democratic U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown’s seat. The battle lines are clearly drawn in the primary, with America First conservatives rallying around Moreno, while the political establishment supports his opponent, state Sen. Matt Dolan.

On election day, Moreno’s supporters took to social media to warn of the importance of the race.

“Election Day in Ohio is today. The administration is trying to revive the Republican Party of the past, and it’s time to move on to the Republican Party of the future. Ohio’s Senate Republican primary is ground zero in that battle. ” said former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy.

“@BernieMoreno is standing up to the establishment and they’re coming down hard on him for it. I’m completely behind him. Vote for Bernie Moreno now. Find your voting location here Please,” he added:

“The disgraced @AP admitted it lied to smear Bernie Moreno’s reputation. The far-left stenographers of the broken mainstream media are desperate for #AmericaFirst candidates. They continue to push defamatory articles,” said Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.), chair of the Republican conference.

“Today is Ohio Day! Vote for Bernie Moreno for U.S. Senate!” she exclaimed.

“Voting is now open in Ohio. Please go out and vote for Donald Trump and Bernie Moreno!” exclaimed Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio).

“Ohio MAGA Patriots – go out and vote for America First Warrior @berniemoreno for your US Senate seat today!” Donald Trump Jr. said as others voiced their support. He said this.

talk to Breitbart News Daily On the eve of Election Day, Moreno said it was important to rebuild America’s middle class and made it clear that his opponent, Dolan, was not qualified for the job.

“He’s not quite Sherrod Brown, but he’s 80 percent of the way there, but he’s going to be a reliable vote for the Democratic Party on important issues,” he said, defeating Dolan in the primary and advancing to the general election. He added that beating Mr. Brown is a big hurdle.

“Here’s the bottom line,” he began.

“Deport all illegal immigrants? For me, the answer is yes. You don’t give them amnesty. Should we abolish the Ministry of Education? For me it is. He would vote against it. Do I need a time limit? I say yes. He says no. Do we want to continue funding endless wars in Ukraine? He will vote yes. I vote no. Do we want more Green New Deal government spending on solar panels and mandatory installations on prime agricultural land? He will vote yes. I will vote no,” Moreno said.

“So this is a campaign with a lot of distractions, but ultimately because we can’t have a repeat of 2017 and 2018, where President Trump had to fight like the Republicans. “It comes down to implementing these policies because we had to fight the Democrats,” Moreno added.
