Conspiracy theorists connect Howard Rubin to the Black Eye Club

He finds himself in the center of a storm.

The downfall of Howard Rubin, the alleged financial guru and self-styled dungeon master, seemed to have been foreshadowed years ago when he appeared at a red carpet event with noticeable black eyes.

This unusual mark should have raised alarms that he was linked to the so-called Black Eye Club, a conspiracy theory-fueled secret society that supposedly requires violent initiation rituals and leaves its members branded. Proponents argue that the black eye is a badge of honor within this group.

“Just look at Rubin’s black eye. It’s commonly recognized as a sign among certain deep-state circles. People in the know will get it.”

Discussion escalated after authorities arrested Rubin at his Connecticut residence last Friday. He stands accused of having kept a woman imprisoned for almost a decade within a penthouse that was allegedly turned into a BDSM “Sex Dungeon.”

The shocking allegations surfaced in a Saturday morning article that featured a striking photo of a grinning “Howie the Scary,” notable for the black mark under his left eye.

This photo, showing him alongside his then-wife Mary Henry, was taken during the 2016 Cure Benefit Dinner, an event supporting the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation, held at the elegant Cipriani Wall Street.

At that time, Rubin was reportedly already embroiled in his troubling activities; he is said to have flown a woman to New York City, where he, with help from his assistant Jennifer Powers, abused her for hours.

How exactly Rubin acquired that black eye remains unclear, but internet sleuths were quick to connect it to the aforementioned secret society, due, perhaps, to its timing.

The “Black Eye Club” has ties to the bizarre “Pizzagate” conspiracy, which claims that influential individuals get black and blue marks on their left eyes as part of initiation rites into exclusive circles. Allegations have implicated figures ranging from Barack Obama and Sharon Stone to Pope Francis, though there’s no substantiated evidence for the club’s existence. Notably, Rubin’s black eye also appeared on the left side.

Rubin’s arrest follows years of allegations surrounding his questionable activities. His name first emerged in civil court in 2017 when three Florida women accused him of sexual misconduct.

Among the plaintiffs were Mia Littel and Amy Moore, identified as Playboy playmates, alongside Stephanie Caldwell, a model and dancer.

In the subsequent year, at least two more women leveled similar accusations against him.

Prosecutors have since charged Rubin, who is being held without bail, with transporting women across state lines and paying over $5,000 for sexual activities.

Authorities believe numerous other women may have been implicated in providing services to Rubin, with about ten suspected to have assisted in organizing such encounters.
