Cops find driver wearing a ‘Jason’ mask — with AR-15 in car

A California man who was pulled over for driving without his headlights on was found to be wearing a scary “Friday the 13th”-style mask and had an illegal AR-15-style rifle hidden in the back seat of his car, police said.

According to Santa Rosa Police, Adonai Efreem, 27, was pulled over in a gold Toyota Camry late Saturday night for what appeared to be a minor infraction.

Officers noted that he was “wearing a ‘Jason’ style face mask” and that he was “sweating profusely and appeared nervous.”

Police officials said officers then “observed an AR-15 style rifle in the back seat partially concealed by a blanket.”

Police released photos of an Eagle Arms Eagle 15 5.56mm semi-automatic rifle and a mask famously worn by Jason Voorhees, the main character in the Friday the 13th film series.

The gun was unloaded, but “it was an unregistered assault weapon and illegal to possess,” police stressed.
